What you can expect if something goes wrong.

Warranty Period

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship and take pride in building fences that are made to last. All new fence installations completed by Tattenbach Fence Co. include a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty from the date of completion.

What Our Warranty Covers

Our workmanship warranty covers defects resulting from installation or craftsmanship, including:

  • Loose or leaning posts caused by improper installation
  • Gate alignment or latch issues related to installation
  • Detached rails or pickets caused by workmanship defects
  • Structural issues resulting from installation error

If a covered issue arises during the warranty period, we will inspect the problem and repair the affected area at no additional labour cost.

What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by storms, wind, flooding, fire, or other natural events
  • Damage caused by vehicles, pets, landscaping equipment, or misuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Natural characteristics of timber including shrinking, swelling, warping, checking, or splitting
  • Movement caused by soil conditions, tree roots, or ground shifting
  • Alterations or repairs completed by others after installation
  • Lack of maintenance or neglect

Timber Fencing Disclaimer

Wood is a natural product and may expand, contract, twist, crack, or change colour over time due to weather and environmental conditions. These are normal characteristics of timber and are not considered defects.

Manufacturer Warranties

Some materials and hardware may also carry separate manufacturer warranties. These warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to their individual terms and conditions.

If you experience an issue covered under warranty, please contact us with:

  • Your name and address
  • Approximate installation date
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos of the affected area

We will respond promptly to inspect and resolve the issue.
